The amazing part of this zoo, is the attraction where you can feed the giraffe. You buy chunks of lettuce, and these gangly awkward creatures gravitate right to you, looking at you with their sweet large deep eyes- right before they stick out their foot long, purple/grey tongues. It is just a hoot! They are extremely gentle, and Im not sure how, but never use their teeth. Their tongues wrap around the lettuce like a trunk would, and slurp! Into their mouths it goes! WE all had a blast, and even maya joined in the fun after a bit!

Love the tip toes! Our little girl is getting so darn big- she is so in love with the world around her. Her curiosity and wonder never cease to amaze me. I am so blessed.
