The last night before we were headed home. Without saying anything, I think all of us wanted to soak up every last bit of sunshine, and together time that we could possibly get. Visits together dont come often enough, and this one was just what the Colorado girls all needed.
So much love, so many sweet besos, so many smiles that reach through the entire body, into the soul. So much love...
Sweet dear smile!
Sweet hermanas looking at the tiny flowers, and little hormigitas that are crawling around on the ground.
Beautiful cactus, waiting for the rains to come...
Dancing in the desert
Running!
This was the strangest thing, until we actually learned what the heck was going on. There were 72 larger than life wooden painted horses and Indians in their full War regalia. I asked my mom about it, and she thought that I had lost my mind, having no idea what I was talking about. We came back together to check them out, and it is a traveling art display.
I love the relationship that these two have...there is just something about it. They are quiet, and sweet, and just have a connection that is wonderful for me to watch. I LOVE watching my baby sister, love on my baby girl....
I love the series of facial expressions on Tia throughout these photos...she was so patient, and so sweet with the girls as they played in the hot tub.
I love how this last photo has Maya looking at Tia like- so, you getting wet? Am I doing that? Tee hee!
After a week of doing pretty darn well with this new concept of potty training, I thought it might be a good idea to get us all out of the house! The zoo is a great little treat, any time of year, but especially when it is spring down low, and still full on winter up high! We carried a little portable potty with us in the stroller, but she never had to use it! It was a GREAT day! Nice work Maya Belle! You have just entered the world of being such a "big girl!"
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
