By chance, we all headed up to ski Loveland the same day that Molly's good friend Thade and his family. What a great, warm Colorado spring days with friends. Maya LOVED her first experience with skis. She wanted mama to run her again and again up the mountain, and ski back down. Molly on the other had was a bit envious of Thade's ability to turn on his own, and stop- which gave him the freedom to ski without the straps. "Papa, I want to do it on my own!" This of course makes him so darn proud, but he wisely set the rule, that if you cant turn and stop, you cant go on your own!
The photo shoot continues after the tubby ends...I love how Maya adores her little "maya size" stuffies! And even though he doesn't look amused, Rio is a wonderfully sweet and affectionate pup with his favorite two girls.
An evening at home with Papa, who always takes advantage of sweet afternoon light in the tub! Sweet sisters really are starting to play more, and enjoy each others company!
A day tagging along with Papa as he does a photo shoot of a sick pup...Molly is enjoying the challenge of balancing along a snowy train track! Don't worry, the train only operates in the warm summer season!
Funny for me to reflect back on this day, three months ago. Brett took the photo, and we both thought what a sweet big girl she seemed to be. She marveled at her new big girl jewelry box with the dancer inside. Now looking back, it amazes me to see how young her face looks, only a few months before. They do grow so very fast before your very eyes.
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
