Another afternoon with Papa behind the lens, taking photos of his favorite subjects- his darling girls. There are hundreds of amazing ones from this afternoon- how do you chose which ones to include! Molly is growing up so amazingly fast. Her vocabulary is precocious and extravagant. Her imagination and creative grow by the day. And her curiosity about life is topped only by her fearless nature. So often she seems as if she is no longer my "little girl."- an emotion that makes me proud and a wee bit scared!
Maya is 18 months, also no longer my "baby." She has new words every day-both sign and verbal. She climbs anything in front of her, and loves to run and jump. She is becoming more social with people, not clinging so much to her mama. And thankfully she puts her big "mana" back into place whenever she feels the need!
Like I said before, spring was never-ending this year. Snow, all the way into June, far into June. Then the time of year we wait all winter for, finally arrived. Here we are, ahhhhhh, summer time! The girls love their pool on the porch- even though we cheat and put warm water in it! Maya is sporting her sister's goggles! And ever faithful poudre is around to lounge in the pool also. THIS is why we live where we do!
Who doesn't like Carrot cake? Who doesn't like baking naked? It is a recipe for giggles, laughter and happiness! As always, molly is quite the helper in the kitchen. This occasion was Abuelita's B-day- Which one is it mama, your 45th? ; )
This spring was a hard one-long, snowy and cold all the way into june. Not normal for our girls to be playing outside with sweatshirts this late into the year!
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
