Lesson? Who am I fooling? My daughter has no fear. Not one little healthy ounce of it! We were down in BV for paddlefest, so boating was in the air. Chris' kids both love boating, and do so often with their papa. Molly started in the tandem with Chirs and 'mitri, but quickly took over Johana's kayak, claiming it for her own. She wanted nothing to do with staying near shore, and wanted to figure out how paddling worked. As I find myself saying quite often lately- who am I to stand in her way? So off she goes!
Our first camping trip of the season was over Memorial Day weekend, down in Buena Vista. The first trip of the year always has some kinks to iron out, but all and all, it was a GREAT weekend. We were joined by our buddy Chris and his two darling boys, and our dear friend Jamie. The girls did fantastic napping and sleeping in the tent, and it felt amazing to sleep with the stars twinkling over our heads, and fresh air tickling our noses. We all can't wait to do it again soon!
This spring was a hard one-long, snowy and cold all the way through May. Not normal for our girls to be playing outside with sweatshirts on through the last week of May
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
