Papa does a pretty darn good job with these girls on Sundays when Im off at work. Please notice that this man has Molly in the back pack and Maya on the front pack. Not messing around! He took advantage of the sunny, spring-like afternoon weather, and took the girls for a hike up the glacier. Seems like a great day, and of course...beautiful photos!!!!
Taking a break from skiing is acceptable when it means going to the rec-center for a family swim. Maya is getting braver with the water, and molly, like all things, just LOVES to learn and try new things. Papa has worked with her to put her ears in the water, and blow bubbles. This trip even gave her the chance to dunk her head. She wasnt the biggest fan, but she did it! Such a brave girl!
There are times that I look at these girls, and I am vividly aware of how fast time goes. The eyes on Molly are those of a 13 year old, asking to go out with her friends. Not those of a wee one, who isnt yet three. The photo with her toes in the back ground is absolutely one of my favorites!
Papa is so patient with teaching Molly, who is a natural on skis. she is so excited, so ready to learn, and they both are so proud of her success! As they should be!
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
