Our stay in the city was phenomenal! We visited the bean, the ca-cuarium, and Macys! It was such an exciting little day! Nana was a great tour guide, and we were lucky to have my mom's condo for home base. Then of course, mama and papa got the opportunity to enjoy a bears game....brrrrrrr!!!!!!!
I cannot believe that my amazing girl has turned one! What a fast fast year! She is trying so hard to walk, taking a rand step or two here and there. She is starting to sign a bit to tell us she wants more, or is all done. And she and her sister are even trying sometimes a little bit to play together...okay, maybe we wont push it!!!!! Happy bday my amazing girl. You are such a joy to us all, and we are absolutely blessed to have you in our lives!!!!
This was the pinnacle of the morning...the long awaited for gift, bigger than life, the secret in the basement, the long, detailed planned out, labor intensive and most PERFECT gift for our girls! Boppa went above and beyond and created an absolute masterpiece. It is beautiful, and the girls' eyes twinkled when they saw it! Thank you Boppa!
Molly's second and Maya's first! Both girls got to sport their Christmas party dresses, enjoyed climbing on Uncle Todd, practiced both climbing and opening presents, and just had a great day! Thanks Nana and Boppa for making the holidays an amazing and magical time! What fond memories I have of a spectacular Christmas in Yorkville. Thanks
This is just one of my favorite Christmas traditions. I fondly remember my mother reading it to my little sisters when we were young, and Boppa just is magical about how he reads a story. I always get tears in my eyes every time. Thanks boppa....I love the wonder in your voice, and the amazement in my daughter's eyes.
Molly fell in LOVE with boppa's trains. What a magical experience! He taught her how to make them go, and what all the buttons did. She just adored playing with them! Boppa! You did amazing work!!!! thanks for all your hard work and patience!
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
