Molly is LOVING having papa home this summer, and he seems to love the time spent playing with her! He sure does love watching her, with a camera attached to his face of course! She wants to do whatever he is doing, and if she needs something, he is the only one that can help. (Im trying to patiently wait for the day I am no longer chopped liver!) I adore the relationship they are building, and watching papa help teach and love his big (little) girl. They are a neat pair!
We just fit a quick over night camping/rafting trip in before our trip to Wis. We took both girls, and met the Panelos, good friends of ours who have a two year old little boy- 'ebastian. The kids rough-housed around camp, while us adults melted, relaxing around the campfire. The girls didnt sleep as well as we would have liked, but I still LOVE getting them out doors, and getting away. We will hopefully do it again several times over the summer!
The reason for our fun filled San Fransisco weekend was to shoot Jonathon and Jenna's wedding. What a phenomenal kick off to wedding season. It was fantastic to be surrounded by family. Molly and Maya's wedding dresses were complements of Nana, dancing done with Uncle Todd, babysitting done by Abuelita- it was a great end to our fantastic weekend. Makes me wish that family was closer to play with the girls more often. Im thankful for the love and strong relationships that we have with you all!
One of the best parts of this San Fran vacation was the time outdoors in the sunshine, playing in the water. One morning was dedicated to a fun fountain in town, but every day, we spent some time playing poolside. Molly spent hours jumping 1...2...3! into the pool to Abuelita. The two of them had so much fun, splashing, giggling and playing in the water together. Molly is so brave, and enjoys the water completely. The fountain she wasnt quite sure of, although she was sure that she shouldnt have her chones on while playing in it!
Okay, so maya is three months behind Molly's first swimming experience, but living at St. Mary's Glacier is not conducive to outdoor swimming experiences. While she wasnt sure she cared for it at first, she quickly relaxed, and even gave us some smiles. Thanks mama for great shots!
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
