January 19th, MLK day giving papa a day off, and 65 degrees. Doesnt get much better than that! We met up with Sarah and baby savanah, and took a great hike near Red Rocks. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state, and have two beautiful girls who so love to play with us outside! After the hike, molly found a stick and all by herself decided she wanted to try to catch a fish! How proud was her papa!!!!
Maya's little belly-nubbin fell off, so it was time for her first tubby! As to be expected, she wasnt quite sure she loved it! Molly was a sweet helper, and loved taking a tubby with baby-sister-Maya!
It has been an amazing series of days. I am absolutely wrapped in a cloud of bliss. I know it wont be easy, and there are days you all need to remind me to look back at these series of blogs. But right now I am LOVING what my life has given me. I am blessed in a thousand ways. So much love, so much nurturing and caring surrounding us. I am in awe of my beautiful daughter, who is so welcoming of our new baby. I am adored and taken care of by my wonderful husband, and feel the love and support of my family and friends. Hopefully you all enjoy looking at the photos of the first few days of Maya's life as much as we have loved living them.
i have searched high and low for a new, easier and more efficient way to share with friends and family the incredible little being who is becoming, more so with each passing hour, molly winona hochmuth.
It seems that "blogging" is the best way to accomplish this sharing- no more emails with ten zillion image files- instead i'll just let you know that there has been a new post made here.
seems fitting, then, to start this digital journal today- as we mark the beginning of her 4th month on the planet- with a group of my favorite images from the past three months...
