Molly Does San Fran!

Our little mountain girl was pretty amazed by the excitement of a big city! (Like her mother wasnt?) We did cable cars, Chinatown, public transportation, looked at crabs, did the wharf, the whole routine. It was such fun, a great days adventure in the big city! Thanks Jessie and Hindaleah for showing us around!

Magic San Francisco Light for Maya Bella

Leave it to papa to find magic light wherever it is we go! This time it was Will's bedroom, first thing in the morning. Our little bella is 6 months old, can you believe it? She weighs out at a wooping 11.10 lbs. Not quite the growth the doc would like to see, but otherwise is perfectly great! She remains a happy little trooper, and continues to interact more and more each day. Molly even stops to take some time to roll around on the ground with her every so often now. She is a pure joy...my magical ray of sunshine!

Molly and Will

Our recent trip to San Francisco started with a stay at my dear friend Jessie's house. Molly hit it off immediately with her 4 year old son, Will. They played really well together. He was super cute with showing molly how to use his toys, make his trains go, and patient with her lack of manners at times. The funniest part of the visit was when Will politely asked molly not to put his toy screwdriver in her mouth. Without missing a beat, molly puckers up, and lays a big ole kiss right on his cheek. Needless to say, he was speechless! It was great to spend time with Jessie, thinking how we have changed over the years, and watching our kiddos play together, something I dont know know that I ever thought of all those years ago. Thanks for a fantastic visit jess!

High Alpine Hiking

The day before we headed to San Fran, we decided to take a hike in our backyard. There is a trail we have been meaning to try for a long time, and somehow never find the time. With a free am, we threw the girls in their packs, and set off! It ended up being a much more intense hike than we had anticipated, but the views were AMAZING!!!!!!! How lucky are we that this is right outside our door?

Teva Mountain Games

While papa was busy taking photos, mama and the girls entertained ourselves walking around the games. We ended up finding a little playmate at a fountain.....an hour of fun, and of course, great photos!

Kayaking with Papa

Molly's latest passion these days is kayaking. She tells anyone that will listen that when she's s big girl, she is going to kayak waterfalls, and then proceeds to show you how that looks with her arms, paddling. Pretty cute. Papa has gotten back into the sport that he hasnt done for years, and then also went up to shoot the Teva Mt. Games, so she has been exposed to it quite a bit. We took advantage of a break in last weeks rain to go out paddling on the lake near us. She had a blast! We all got a kick out of poudre trying to follow us into the lake...that dog NEVER wants to be left behind, especially when it has to do with his friend molly!

The many faces of Molly Winona

Taking photos of this beautiful little girl never gets old. Molly amazes us these days, seeming to grow overnight. She has always been fiercely independent, but now she has the fluent vocabulary to tell us about it. Her sentences amazes us, as she tells us what she is doing, what she wants to do, or what she wants us to do! She continues to play hard, loving the weather that allows her to run, jump and find ants outside. We followed a caterpillar for about 10 mins today on a walk...I love how fascinated by the world around her she is.
